In April 2022, the team at Hope for Malindi, also known as Team Hope4malindi, supported the baptism ceremonies in three different villages in the Malindi region of Kenya. The first ceremony took place on March 29th at Mla Chake, where 19 individuals were baptized. On April 3rd, the team traveled to Mbungare and witnessed the baptism of 30 individuals. Two days later, on April 5th, the team attended a baptism ceremony at Raukani, where 15 individuals were baptized.
This is just one example of the work that Hope for Malindi is doing to support the community in the region. However, it is not without its challenges. Rev. Katana has reported a fuel crisis in Kenya, with a lack of fuel and high prices causing difficulties for many. We ask that everyone keeps the situation in their prayers and hopes for a swift resolution to the crisis.
Hope for Malindi remains committed to improving the lives of the people in the region through various initiatives, including spiritual guidance and support. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the community and look forward to continuing our efforts in the future.
